I was dying laughing watching this XD
You can throw stuff a lot further if you press and hold lol. It charges up!
Playtesting is essential :) Thank you so much for producing this video. It helps us out so much.
I know it has some bugs, and for sure people aren't quite grokking the interface. It's all excellent feedback for our next build.
As long as people are laughing the WOFG! Alpha is a win in my eyes.
Is it intended to be so blurry in motion? I had to shut the game down after a couple minutes due to eye strain.
Definitely not. Do you mind sending us a screenshot on our Discord? We would love to help diagnose the issue! Thanks for downloading :)
Good call to duck out before getting a headache :) We are still trying to nail down the minimum specs but I think you will need a dedicated GPU to play WOFG!
When I test with a Nvidia Geforce GTX 970 I get some bad motion blur when things are moving really fast. Playable, but enough to notice and annoy me. Most of the dev was done with a Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 3GB so, at least for now, I'd say that's our recommended GPU.
Well I didn't check in here for a while and just now saw the replies. My system annihilates the specs for this game. I'm on a high end gaming PC, not a Chromebook my friend.
Absolutely fair. My apologies, it was not my intent to insult your battlestation. I was just trying to diagnose the motion blur issue- and I've noticed similar stuff happening when I test on older GPUs. Could be lots of reasons for bad blur.
If you are willing to help our bug hunt I'd hugely appreciate if you'd share your system specs, footage of the blur would help as well. I now have an email setup for bug reports: dev@sqyd.studio. Please reach out if you have the time :)
